KEVIN SORBO

Kevin David Sorbo, born on September 24, 1958, in Mound, Minnesota, is an actor best known for his role as Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995). A multi-sport athlete in high school and college, he later pursued acting, starting with theater and commercials in Europe and Australia before settling in Los Angeles in 1986. His imposing physique and charisma led to guest roles on popular shows before landing his breakout role. Beyond acting, Kevin has directed and co-written episodes of Hercules and studied martial arts for his stunts. He is also deeply involved in philanthropy, serving as the chair and spokesperson for A World Fit for Kids!, a program mentoring inner-city youth. In 1998, he married actress Sam Sorbo, known for her role in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
